Double Headed Tickler

For whatever reason this bait consistently puts limits in the boat and on the ice. If I could only choose one jig in the whole lineup to fish with year round it would be this bait. 

This is one of my favorite baits. It's always tied on when I'm walking the hard water or sharp shooting fish from the boat. 

In reality this jig is the hair nymph with a second tungsten bead. The jig still keeping the smaller profile but doubling the weight allows for you to get right back down on the fish. It's also great when hole hopping in heavier winds, the weight allows the line to remain tight and doesn't have as much wind reflection as lighter baits. 

Killer all year round tightlined for crappie around structure!
