This is one of my favorite baits. It's always tied on, and in the summer the ice rod goes into the bass boat.
In reality this jig is the hair nymph with a second tungsten bead. The jig still keeping the smaller profile but doubling the weight allows for you to get right back down on the fish. It's also great when hole hopping in heavier winds, the weight allows the line to remain tight and doesn't have as much wind refection as lighter baits.
Was killer all summer tightlined for crappie around structure!
